Dear book review readers,

Obsidio is astounding. Just like the other two books in the series, I was unable to put it down. Be careful when starting this book! Make sure you have no other obligations from start to finish. I've read other book reviews of this book saying that the ending was too easy, but I disagree. If you read the author description, it says, "Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff feast upon your tears and relish your screams. I could not agree less, and they have put us fellow Illuminae Files and Aurora Cycle readers through it! I think the ending is just enough fluff to make me forget about the thousands of people who died due to Beitech, and the untold TRILLIONS that would've died if AIDAN, Nik, and Hanna hadn't saved the universe. The little details they add are what makes this book truly BRILLIANT! The characters are very well put together, like Ben Garver, an irate former chief of security with a Napoleon complex. However, Ben has a soft spot for his best friend's wife and son, and fought for families to get better rooming and equal rations aboard the Mao. 11/10 book, nothing could top this.
